WINTER PITCHING CAMP
Space is limited to first 20 kids for each session
The purpose of this camp is to show specific drills to assist in pitching technique, arm care, and to add velocity. These drills are the same drills top colleges, and high-end national pitching camps use. It is extremely rare for a high school program to use these drills or any youth program for that matter.
Registration includes your session, complete packet of camp drills, a Q&A session about best practices for youth development, and a camp shirt. Information will be given to camp members so they may purchase the specific equipment used in the session to use as they continue their pitching preparation at home.
Kids will be separated by age group for these sessions. The strength training piece for the older group would not benefit the younger kids. They will do the drills in a modified format. However, Coach Benedetti can go over and answer questions about the use of plyo/weighted balls, etc. in the Q&A session with parents as the kids get training. This camp is meant to be introductory and the athlete is encouraged to do this work on their own or I recommend through various pitching facilities (Driveline for example). We have shortened the training this year because of the drills we will be implementing. Your athlete will be sore afterwards.
Each session (morning or afternoon) will have a maximum of 20 athletes at each session. Ages 8-18 are welcome. Camp will be held at East Valley Elementary School on Beaudry Road.
